Located near the entrance to Tando Port at Daebu Island, Ansan Fishing Village Folk Museum allows visitors to experience the traditional folk and fishing culture in Ansan’s fishing villages. The museum provides a range of attractions, including exhibitions of the tideland in the West Coast and educational materials about fishing villages.
Exhibition Hall 1 features coastal relics such as fossils of dinosaur footprints. Exhibition Hall 2 shows what daily life was like in fishing villages surrounding the wetland on the West Coast, one of the world’s five major wetlands, while Hall 3 looks at the lives of fishers in Ansan, who live alongside the sea.
